Contributions to the Arts by Texans

Picture
Use the image to the left to create a ThingLink to keep track of all of the Texans that kids need to know for 19D.
  • Use Google Classroom to give all of your students a copy of the people placemat.
  • Create a ThingLink with the peoples' pictures as a placemat background.
  • Students add a tag on each picture identifying who the person is and why they are important. They can use their book or the web for reference.
People are in order from left to right - Roy Bedichek, Diane Gonzales Bertrand, J. Frank Dobie, Scott Joplin, Elisabet Ney, Amado Peña Jr., Walter Prescott Webb, and Horton Foote.
