Road to Revolution

The Mapping of Texas History

The Texas Revolution layer of our Mapping of Texas History project has kids mapping the events leading up to the Revolution. This includes:  the Fredonian Rebellion, Law of April 6, 1830, the Skirmish at Anahuac, Turtle Bayou Resolutions and the arrest of Stephen F. Austin. If you'd like your kids to map these items now, please refer to the lesson found under the 3rd 6 Weeks Texas Revolution tab.
